We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team in Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts that inspire, inform, and captivate our audience across both digital and print media.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual Identity: Create and maintain consistent brand identities, including logos, color palettes, and typography that reflect Ahmedabad’s heritage and modern growth.
- Marketing Collateral: Design eye-catching brochures, flyers, and large-scale hoardings tailored for high-traffic areas like S.G. Highway and C.G. Road.
- Digital Assets: Develop creative graphics for social media (Instagram/LinkedIn), website banners, and high-conversion email newsletters.
- Conceptualization: Brainstorm and mock up design ideas based on creative briefs, drawing inspiration from the city’s unique geometry and textile patterns.
- Print Production: Prepare final press-ready files and coordinate with Ahmedabad’s extensive network of high-quality printers to ensure premium output.
- Retouching: Perform high-end image editing and photo manipulation for product catalogs, specifically for the textile, diamond jewelry, and real estate sectors.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (Alumni from NID or CEPT are highly encouraged to apply).
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, from minimalist corporate modern to intricate traditional patterns.
- Aesthetic Sense: Deep understanding of layout principles, color theory, and the “Indo-Saracenic” visual language unique to Ahmedabad.
- Language: Ability to work with both English and Gujarati typography for local and regional advertising campaigns.
Preferred Skills
- Vector Illustration: Ability to create custom icons and illustrations, perhaps inspired by the Sidi Saiyyed lattice or Patola print motifs.
- UI Basics: Knowledge of Figma or Adobe XD for basic web interface design and app prototyping.
- Local Insight: Familiarity with the visual language of Gujarat’s retail landscape, especially in the garment and jewelry industries.
