Sabarmati Ashram (Gandhi Ashram)
Located on the quiet banks of the Sabarmati River, this ashram served as the residence of Mahatma Gandhi for 13 years and was the historic starting point of the 1930 Dandi March. Today, it stands as a poignant memorial and museum where visitors can see Gandhi’s personal belongings, his original living quarters at “Hriday Kunj,” and a vast collection of letters and photographs documenting India’s freedom struggle.
