We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team in Ahmedabad. You will be the voice of our brand, responsible for capturing the pulse of this “Mega City” and translating it into a compelling digital presence that engages both the local Gujarati community and a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Content Production: Oversee the creation of high-quality visuals and videos (Reels/Shorts) that highlight our brand’s connection to Ahmedabad’s vibrant lifestyle, from the serene Sabarmati Riverfront to the bustling night markets.
- Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to queries, and foster a loyal online community through active listening and authentic interaction.
- Influencer Collaboration: Identify and partner with local Ahmedabad-based influencers and creators to amplify brand reach within the Gujarat region.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor social media analytics to identify trends, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights for future campaigns.
- Event Coverage: Provide live social media coverage for major local events, such as the International Kite Festival (Uttarayan), Navratri celebrations, or business summits at the Mahatma Mandir.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, PR, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in managing professional social media accounts with a proven track record of growth.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Gujarati; the ability to write witty, relatable, and culturally relevant captions that resonate with the local “Amdavadi” spirit is a must.
- Trends Expert: Deep understanding of current social media algorithms, hashtag strategies, and viral trends.
- Creativity: A strong eye for aesthetics, layout, and visual storytelling.
Preferred Skills
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, or professional scheduling tools like Buffer/Hootsuite.
- Ads Management: Experience in running targeted Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) to drive local traffic across Ahmedabad’s key demographics.
- Photography/Videography: Basic skills in mobile photography and short-form video editing to capture “on-the-go” content at places like Manek Chowk or Law Garden.
